Art Search Limited has provided a complete art consultancy service for private clients and major international corporations including BMW,

Glaxo and Shell for over thirty years.

We offer advice on all aspects of art to our clients including helping with selecting works of art, commissioning new work, searching for a named artist and curating art collections. For further details of our consultancy

The consultancy was formed by Philip Herriott who was formerly Secretary General of The Federation of British Artists, one of Europe's largest art organisations, where he worked with over two thousand artists, including members of The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, The Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The Royal Society of Marine Artists and The New English Art Club. He was director of the Alwin Gallery of Contemporary British Sculpture where he worked with the artists Elizabeth Frink and Lynn Chadwick and the estate of Henry Moore.

Our artists

We work with both very well established artists and new up and coming young artists. Many of our clients particularly relish the thrill of discovering new talent and we therefore visit all of the leading Art School Graduate Shows as well as seeing artists in their own studios to view their latest work.

Our clients

Our corporate clients include multinational corporations such as O2, Ericsson and Zurich Insurance, and recently we completed advising Sinopec, the Chinese Gas and Oil conglomerate and the fifth largest corporation in the world, on all of the art for thir new UK Headquarters.

Our private clients range from seasoned art collectors to those seeking some friendly advice on obtaining their very first works of art for a new home.
